The LCRA acknowledges that property owners may wish to rent out their property. It is the responsibility of the property owner/landlord or property management company  to arrange lake access for their tenants by completing Renters & tenants Access Agreement.

 

The property owner/ landlord or property management company wishes to transfer their LCRA access privileges to their renter/tenant.

• The property owner/ landlord must relinquish their rights to the lake and transfer them to the tenants listed on the Renters & Tenants Access Agreement. The owner/ landlord will be removed from the property profile, and will have their membership card cancelled, but will be kept on the property account as primary contact. The landlord must attend the LCRA Office to complete a Renters Membership Agreement form – tenants are not permitted to complete this form.​

It is up to the landlord to determine how annual LCRA membership fees are paid, whether they pay the fees themselves, or work them into a rental agreement. The LCRA is not responsible, nor are involved, with agreements or disputes between landlords and tenants.
